There are four opening prayers at the Sunday Eucharist: English, Korean, Spanish, and Kanjobal (a Mayan dialect.) The Apostles' Creed is on page 162 in the Gather Book. At the Greeting of Peace, Peace be with you is added in Hebrew and Arabic as our prayer for peace in the Holy Land.

2nd Annual Taste of St. Mary, organized by the Korean Catholic Student Association, will be after Mass on Sunday, April 19. In addition to gathering together as a family for lunch, this will be an opportunity to raise money for the St. Mary Church Calavera Fund. Contact Noel Hansu Na at 553-0962 for more information.

St. Jude Catholic Worker House needs a regular (non-commercial) refrigerator to store food for our live-in guests and volunteers. If you have one you could donate, please call Leigh at 369-5481.

Catholic Daughters of the Americas will meet on Sunday, April 19, for the 8 A.M. Mass at Holy Cross Church. There will be a meeting in the Parish Center after Mass.

Did you know that your Annual Diocesan Appeal dollars train volunteers to offer ministry to hurting individuals and their families? Parish volunteers regularly visit those in nursing homes, hospitals, or those who are homebound.

If you are considering adoption as a way to add to your family, Catholic Charities will host an informational meeting on Wednesday, April 22, 6:30-8 P.M., at 1315A Curt Dr. in Champaign. For over 10 years, Catholic Charities has provided home-studies, placement, and post-placement services and support. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Kelly at 352-5179.

Catholic Charities Advisory Board's Annual Steak Dinner will be held again this year at the Center of the Universe – The Philo Tavern, on Sunday, April 26. The event will begin with a cash bar at 4 P.M. followed by dinner at 5 P.M. All proceeds benefit local programs of Catholic Charities in our community. The tickets are $30 each with $20 a donation to Catholic Charities. For tickets, call Kay at 762-2573.

Prayerful single men are invited to a Live-in Experience vocational retreat at the New Melleray Trappist Monastery near Dubuque, Iowa. The retreat will be held

Visit a shut-in. Be matched with a St. Mary parishioner who would appreciate regular visits, weekly or monthly. Call Sandy at 352-8364.
Provide flowers. If you would like to provide flowers to beautify our sanctuary, please call Carolyn at 356-5194.

Feed the hungry. In addition to financial contributors (FCWH, P.O. Box 1612, Champaign 61824-1612), the St. Jude Catholic Worker House needs volunteers for the Soup Kitchen. Call Ellen at 356-7101 or Leigh at 359-9466.
Help the homeless. Donate shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, spray deodorant, hair care products for African-American men, shaving cream and disposable razors to the T.I.M.E.S. Center. All sizes are appreciated. The collection box is in the church lobby. Call Carolyn at 356-5194.

Save your inkjet printer cartridges. St. Mary earns money for each one which is then donated to the St. Jude Catholic Worker House. Place them in the box in the lobby or use the mailing bags by the box.
Shop. In addition to the many products from El Salvador, handmade jewelry,
St. Mary note cards, and the St. Mary Choir CD are on sale in the lobby. These sales support the small women's co-ops in El Salvador.

If you wish to contact the pastor please do so after weekend Masses or call weekdays between 9 and 5. Emergency calls can be made at any time.
Confessions will be heard upon request.
Baptisms can be arranged at your convenience with the pastor. We suggest that you consider baptism as part of the Sunday Liturgy.
Marriages must be arranged with the pastor at least four months in advance. Attendance at Pre-Cana Conferences is required.
Communion for shut-ins may be arranged with the pastor.
The Sacrament of the Sick is administered twice yearly at Sunday Masses or may be arranged at any time with the pastor.
Mass Intentions for someone living or dead should be put in the collection in a labeled envelope. Indicate for whom the Mass should be said and the requested date. The usual offering is $10 per Mass. You can request a specific date, and if that date is not available, the next closest one will be assigned.
The Religious Education Program for school children is held on Sunday mornings at 9 A.M., October – April.
Check out the magazine rack in the lobby. A number of excellent Catholic publications are available for purchase.
Support your parish. All are expected to take their fair share in the financial support of the parish. Quarterly financial reports are in the church lobby.
